The main area uses a tabbed interface. The first three tabs (Font Information, Sample Text and Glyphs) are related to viewing fonts. The Playground, Classification and Compare tabs are related to refining font selection by comparison.

The main area and the Browse Fonts sidebar have mostly a one-way connection: changes in the sidebar update the main area, not the other way round, except for the Classification tab which has a two-way connection.
