One of the best figures I've seen done in POV.

From agage@mines.edu:
Very nice use of a julia fractal -- with the transparency it is very neat.
The background (mountains/fog) is well done as well. The use of a height field
for a blanket is a good idea -- I had originally assumed that it was a bezier
patch. Those are pretty tight-fitting pajamas....

From jaime@ctav.es:
Wow! Both Julia's are awesome. The girl it's a great modelling/texturing job!
And the fractal is also very nice. Distant mountains look right, and the bed
it's fantastic, even the cover! I hope to see you in the winners IRTC page!

From Martin.Magnusson.7121@student.uu.se:
Great! The girl is just excellent, and the whole scene is very good. Bravo!

Extraordinary! Amazing! This is a fantastic image.

Incredible, incredible. This picture is the only picture so far this round
that I've given a 20 to. (20-20-19)

I've read little Nemo too! cool concept

Really like the swirly tunnel thingy

From gpateman@att.com:
Amazing! Without a doubt the best entry in all respects! I'm envious!

From ethelm@bigfoot.com:
Very artistic and very clever.
The girl, the bed and the background are excellent.
The background, mountains etc are marvellous.
How did you make the Julia become a tunnel with
a glass texture? (we have not read your POV file, is it
in there?). Very interesting manipulation of a Julia.

From gmccarter@hotmail.com:
Many nice details in this surrealistic scene. Great use of the Julia fractal.
The background is very realistic. I like the heightfield of the red bedcover.

From uwe.post@gmx.de:
Brilliant idea and art. 57 points. You're "my" winner, I think.

From arcana@sinbad.net:
Nice original use of a heightfield to make the bed sheet. :{)

From djconnel@flash.net:
Nicely done!!!

It has everything -- an excellent use of the analytic fractal,
an effective use of the height field mountain, an excellent
modeling of an unmade bed, and a very nicely modeled human
figure. Even the lighting is effectively done -- a bit bright overall,
but it is a dream... The ground mist is also a very nice touch.
This one is a worthy winner!

The bed sheet is the best I've seen.

From cfusner@enter.net:
A mastery of both the human form and julia fractals! Truly masterful.
Little Julia? Perfect. A superb image, excellently crafted and
composed.

I liked this pic.
Notable for originality, composition

I just think it's brilliant, it makes me loose orientation and my stomach revolves like Earth's gravitation failed!
Notable for composition

Nicely done. The girl and the bedspread are very well modelled. The Julia set gate is a clever idea. The dent in the pillow is a nice detail. The background is good. The ends of the bed are too plain. They need some sort of detailing. This comment by clem@dhol.com.
