IMAGE DESCRIPTION:

American's most famous architect is Frank Lloyd Wright. In 1934, at the age of
67, he started a project to build a vacation house that is renown for its
architectural harmony with nature. It is located deep in the woods, near Bear
Run, Pennsylvania. A distinguishing feature is a stream running through the
inside of the house, ending with a waterfall. Appropriately, the home is named
Fallingwater.

DESCRIPTION OF HOW THIS IMAGE WAS CREATED:

The shape of the house was put together using photos from the Web as a guide.
The waterfall is made from elongated water textured terrains. The fieldstone
walls are color modified brick texture with a touch of turbulence added. The
foliage consists of standard Vue objects, with some tricks to increase their
fullness without having to deal with an overwhelming number of polygons.
Selecting a suitable water texture was a challenge. The final choice heightens
the serenity and avoids the viewer's eye being led out of the picture. Playing
with the individual objects ambient lighting provided the color balance and
focus.
